Bump into your friends on the web.
PaperTrail is a browser extension for a handful of close friends. Open a page a friend has visited and you see that they were there. Leave them a note on a paragraph, react with an emoji, or hide a clue that leads to the next page of a trail.
- Footprints See when a friend was on the same page, how long they stayed and how far they read.
- Notes, reactions and clues Pin them to the page for your friends to find.
- Paths Crossed Get a message when you and a friend are on the same page at the same moment.
The privacy promise
Your list of visited pages stays on your device; the server only ever gets scrambled codes and notes encrypted on your device, so it cannot see which pages you visit or read what you write. Only the friends you pair with can, for the pages they visit themselves, and you can delete any note, any friend or your whole account at any time.
